Alex Findlay has recently retired early after an illustrious career with BAE Systems and formerly GEC Marconi, Plessey Telecommunications and UTA/Air France. Alex's speciality, apart from his extensive Sales and Marketing successes with Telecom's, Aerospace and Airlines in over 100 countries worldwide, was either building new businesses or rescuing failing businesses. He has lived and worked in Europe, Africa and Asia whilst acquiring fluent French (written and spoken), “good” Italian and German, “reasonable” Spanish and made speeches in Arabic and Chinese.

In addition to setting up new offices in South East Asia for UTA/Air France and selling and marketing Telecoms equipment, notably to China , Alex has led companies in both the manufacture and marketing of Trainer Aircraft, Self-Propelled Guns, Howitzers and Land and Naval Systems.

Alex's last job with BAE Systems where he continues to provide Consultancy services, was to build a Training and Support Services business for Availability Contracting in the military air sector.
